Who has got your back? Strata Managers Vs Building managers

Being onsite, a building manager makes relationships quicker than strata managers with residents and committees, and a picture tells a thousand words when there is a problem.

A Strata Manager can be flying blind on issues while a building manager is there and can see it first hand in full perspective.

My relationship with strata managers has always been a fruitful one. I have always had their backs and I have no doubt the strata managers I have built relationships with have always had my back.

Before I started Grays Rescue Building Management, I had witnessed the worst behaviour of building management companies towards strata managers as they then wonder why no strata manager wants to work with them.

Lucky for the strata industry these relic building management companies are going the way of the dinosaur, as the industry does not reward bad behaviour and unsavoury building management practices…

Strata Managers have a tough gig and they rely on building managers to make their job as easy as possible. Quite frankly it’s not hard to do.

How to support a Strata Manager –

Grays Rescue Building Management recommend that:

✔ – The day prior to any strata meeting, EGM or AGM the Strata Manager receive a copy of GRBM notes and comments. There is no better support a building manager can offer to a strata manager than ensure they look up to date with every item on the agenda.

✔ – Share the credit when good things happen with your strata manager – remember you are a team.

✔ – When something is not right, give your strata manager the heads up.

✔ – If you work for a company who try to make strata managers look bad – leave. That company is not worth working for….

Let’s celebrate the strata managers and appreciate the works they do in the most thankless job ever…..
